Mary Elizabeth and Michala have both been to the hospital many times. Both of the girls go to Egleston Children's Hospital and Shriners Hospital. Michala had her first surgery at Boston Children's Hospital and she goes to Huntsville for her seizures. These pictures share some of the story Michala's foot and cancer. A couple of the pictures of her foot are very graphic so beware.

We took Michala to Boston Children's Hospital for a consult right before her first birthday. What a wonderful hospital and a beautiful city.

These two pictures were taken of Michala's foot the night before her first surgery. We are so thankful to have these pictures so that we can be reminded of the pain that she suffered. Not that we are thankful she was in pain but when it is hard to accept the amputation these pictures bring comfort that she does not have that pain with her foot any more.
